Fresher QA Engineer

PranshTech Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Fresher QA Engineer with 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience (internship or academic project-based experience acceptable). This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about software quality and want to build a career in manual and automated testing within a real-world product development environment.

Technical and Professional Requirements:

• Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Bug Life Cycle
• Familiarity with manual testing techniques and test case writing
• Exposure to bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar
• Basic knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium (preferred but not mandatory)
• Understanding of functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new testing tools and methodologies
• Good logical thinking and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements
• Write and execute test cases, test plans, and checklists
• Perform manual testing of websites, web applications, and mobile apps
• Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
• Participate in QA reviews, test result analysis, and reporting
• Continuously learn testing best practices and assist in improving QA processes
